Craig Campbell, Seo Expert

I was born in Glasgow and schooled in the Shawlands Academy. My journey into SEO started as a hobby, where I developed a great interest in the field. I began to learn anything I found about SEO.
And then before I knew it, I had to hire some staff because I was getting busier and busier. I just one day woke up and I had this agency and I had 17 staff and I was stressed out and I wasn’t going to mail and I’ve never actually set out to be a business owner. So built up this agency which is doing really well. Doing local client work in an all that kind of stuff . And then from there, I decided that wasn’t really for me. And I think we spoke about that previously Joe to walk in and as you know, staff is quite cool to do it for a while, but it’s quite stressful as well.

It’s the place where people spend money and you know it has a serious amount of traffic. So the USA Is a great place to drive traffic to your business. One would love to rank for the general keywords that broadly describe what they do on their website. If you provide therapy consultations, then showing up when people search “mental health” would mean that people will easily find you.
Although this is UK, there are many people who do not know about it, they do not understand it and confuse SEO with CEO. People who deal with SEO, many of them just pour a lot of content without making their site faster or without doing other technical stuff. There are cases where their SSL does not work well or they have copied content.

I think Google’s clever enough to be able to identify bot traffic. I’ve got a weird sequence of events that I do when I try to promote a product or a page. I could do scrolling text and all that on it and I thought, « Oh man, you are the man, » because I learned how to a small bit of HTML. I thought I was going to be a web designer because SEO really wasn’t a thing.
Whether it’s on a weird affiliate website you have or something, try things out, or just have a bunch of test websites. And I think, having that ability not to be set. Like, it’s very easy once you master a process to stay rigid and keep doing that process.

Get inspired to turn your passion project into a thriving business with a little help from the legendary Dolly Parton. yeah man I should be in the UK in May as well how knows those days get a little closer. I’m going to do a little little meet and greet with some people out there. Got a little plan coming together so definitely let me know when that is and and would love to see you on another.
Plus, I think I’m now at a level where I’ve done SEO long enough to offer training opportunities; there really are few experiences I’ve not had in the SEO industry. So I would like to think my knowledge and experience are something I can pass on to other people now. I think clients must look into SEO properly and understand that it is not a magic trick – it takes time, effort, tools, research, etc., and it costs money. Clients don’t understand that, to do the appropriate research, SEOs must pay a monthly fee for the tools they use.
Still, organic search conversions trumps paid traffic conversions. In terms of strategy and budget implementation, personally I would probably do 80% SEO 20% paids. After gaining local traction, shift the focus on ranking nationally. I get on to implement building content whether you set up outreach campaigns, you’re hiring content writers or doing your technical SEO audits. It’s all about citations and having consistent name, address, and postcode across a whole bunch of online assets.

You know, you have to try and capture as much traffic from as many different sources as you possibly can. And even though organic search is bringing in a wealth of traffic to any business, so you’re going to have to look at analytics. And, you know, you hear people say SEO is dead and you know, it’s going away. I’ve been hearing that stuff for the last 10 years.
But I do spend a lot of time manually adding tweets and building relationships with influencers too and I do feel this has a massive part to play, engaging with other influencers and adding value to the conversations helps a lot. I could spend this whole article talking about tools, what they do and which ones people should use, it’s a big topic and this is something that constantly changes, as there are new tools coming out all the time so do keep an eye out for new ones too. Getting good rankings yourself is one way to get clients, I get a lot of new business due to my own local Best SEO Youtube channel rankings, but there are many other ways to market yourself, but as an SEO expert it speaks volumes if you can rank your own website. I invite you all to read the interview as Craig has given a lot of insights on how to run an SEO business and how to stay on top of your game. Craig has spoken at leading industry events such as Ad world Conference, Affiliate World Europe, Brighton SEO, Search Leeds, SEO Rockstars, Chiang Mai SEO and many other marketing and business summits. Known for his direct approach to marketing and has a great personality which makes him a very popular figure.

One particular forum he enjoyed and got a lot out of was the ” SEO Chat Forum ” which is still there to this day. Don’t just trust other people with the fluff that they’re saying or they’re claiming something. A lot of people are saying a lot of stuff but it’s also important to do your own research and see for yourself what works for you and what doesn’t.
You’ve got to do a bit of everything to make sure you get the best campaign going. SEO is a strategy and technique that you need to implement to get to the right place. And obviously content goes hand in hand with SEO. But it’s not the only part of it and you can’t really solely focus on it. Find the best candidates quicker than your competitors.
